Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Retail Leasing to lead our leasing strategy, drive tenant acquisition, and maximize occupancy rates across our retail portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail leasing, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to foster long-term relationships with brands, anchor tenants, and franchise operators.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute leasing strategies to achieve optimal occupancy, rental growth, and tenant mix.

Identify, negotiate, and secure high-profile retail tenants, franchises, and anchor brands.

Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to advise on leasing opportunities.

Oversee lease documentation, terms, and renewals in collaboration with legal and finance teams.

Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to enhance property visibility and footfall.

Build and maintain relationships with brokers, retailers, and industry stakeholders.

Monitor lease compliance, rental collections, and tenant satisfaction.

Prepare and present leasing performance reports to senior management.
Qualifications & Skills:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).

Experience: 10+ years in retail leasing, property management, or commercial real estate.

Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.

In-depth knowledge of retail market dynamics and leasing laws.

Financial acumen (understanding of ROI, CAP rates, and lease structuring).
