Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Retail Leasing to lead our leasing strategy, drive tenant acquisition, and maximize occupancy rates across our retail portfolio. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in retail leasing, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to foster long-term relationships with brands, anchor tenants, and franchise operators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute leasing strategies to achieve optimal occupancy, rental growth, and tenant mix.

  • Identify, negotiate, and secure high-profile retail tenants, franchises, and anchor brands.

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior to advise on leasing opportunities.

  • Oversee lease documentation, terms, and renewals in collaboration with legal and finance teams.

  • Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to enhance property visibility and footfall.

  • Build and maintain relationships with brokers, retailers, and industry stakeholders.

  • Monitor lease compliance, rental collections, and tenant satisfaction.

  • Prepare and present leasing performance reports to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).

  • Experience: 10+ years in retail leasing, property management, or commercial real estate.

  • Skills:

    • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.

    • In-depth knowledge of retail market dynamics and leasing laws.

    • Financial acumen (understanding of ROI, CAP rates, and lease structuring).

    • Excellent communication and relationship management.

    • Proficiency in CRM tools and lease management software
