Position Overview:
We are seeking a visionary General Manager – Finance to serve as the financial steward of our organization, driving fiscal excellence and strategic decision-making. This executive role combines financial leadership with business partnership to optimize capital allocation, enhance profitability, and ensure sustainable growth. The ideal candidate is a Chartered Accountant or CFA with 15+ years of progressive experience, capable of navigating complex financial landscapes while leading high-performing teams.

Core Responsibilities:
1. Financial Leadership & Governance
– Serve as the financial architect of the organization, developing 3-5 year financial roadmaps aligned with corporate strategy
– Chair the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) committee, providing actionable insights to the Board
– Ensure compliance with IND-AS/IFRS standards and regulatory filings (RBI, SEBI, MCA)

2. Capital & Treasury Management
– Optimize capital structure through strategic debt/equity financing (including ECB, NCDs, QIP)
– Lead treasury operations with focus on working capital optimization (AP/AR days < industry benchmark) – Manage relationships with investment banks, rating agencies, and financial institutions 3. Business Partnership – Drive margin improvement initiatives through cost benchmarking and value engineering – Evaluate M&A opportunities including due diligence, valuation, and post-merger integration – Implement AI-driven forecasting models for predictive financial analysis 4. Risk & Compliance – Oversee enterprise risk management framework with focus on forex, commodity, and interest rate hedging – Ensure robust internal controls through periodic audits (Statutory, Internal, Tax) – Lead GST/TDS compliance and litigation management 5. Team Development – Build future-ready finance teams through digital upskilling (RPA, Power BI, Tableau) – Establish centers of excellence for tax, audit, and investor relations – Foster culture of innovation through fintech partnerships Key Performance Indicators: – EBITDA Margin Improvement (200-300 bps annual target) – Return on Capital Employed (ROCE > 20%)
– DSO/DPO Optimization (15-20% working capital efficiency)
– Fund Raise Execution (Debt/Equity transactions closed)

Candidate Profile:
Education:
– CA/CFA/MBA (Finance) from premier institution

Experience:
– 15+ years with 5+ years in leadership role (Manufacturing/Infrastructure preferred)
– Track record in managing >₹1000 Cr P&L

Technical Mastery:
– Advanced financial modeling (DCF, LBO, Merger Models)

Leadership Traits:
– Board-level presentation skills
– Crisis management in economic downturns
– Stakeholder management across PE investors, banks, and FI’s
