Job Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented General Manager – Finance to oversee all financial operations, drive fiscal discipline, and optimize financial performance. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned finance leader with expertise in financial planning, risk management, and business growth strategies. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping the company’s financial future while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Strategy & Leadership:

    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business goals, ensuring long-term profitability and sustainability.

    • Provide strategic insights to the executive team for informed decision-making and growth opportunities.

  • Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A):

    • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support business planning and resource allocation.

    • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.

  • Treasury & Risk Management:

    • Oversee cash flow management, working capital optimization, and investment strategies.

    • Identify and mitigate financial risks through robust internal controls and compliance frameworks.

  • Financial Reporting & Compliance:

    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with regulatory standards (GAAP/IFRS).

    • Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies to maintain compliance.

  • Team Leadership & Development:

    • Manage and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.

  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Partner with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, HR) to align financial goals with business objectives.

    • Present financial results and strategic recommendations to the board and investors.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: CA / CPA / CMA / MBA in Finance or related field.

  • Experience: 12+ years in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (preferably in [industry, e.g., manufacturing, retail, fintech]).

  • Technical Skills:

    • Expertise in financial modeling, ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), and advanced Excel.

    • Strong knowledge of taxation, auditing, and corporate finance principles.

  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

    • Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and high business acumen.
